At Bird Zone we raise, hand feed, and socialize the baby birds we sell to ensure happy, healthy, and friendly pets for our customers. Because of the delicate and risky nature of hand feeding baby birds our policy is to keep the birds at the store until they are fully weaned. We pay special attention to keeping our birds in the cleanest possible environment. We also ask you to wash your hands prior to handling any of our birds. When you decide on buying a baby bird that is still in the nursery we require a minimum deposit of one half of the selling price. New owners are encouraged to come to the store and handle their new baby as often as possible to help establish a bond with the bird. Some of our medium, large, and extra large sized parrots are polyoma vaccinated prior to the bird going home at no additional cost to you.
